据伊朗官方IRNA通讯社报道，2月28日起，进口贸易中的采购订单不允许基于美元。此举响应了伊朗央行提出的正式请求，专为解决美元汇率波动。

伊朗央行外汇法规与政策事务主管Mehdi Kasraeipour称，这不会对贸易商带来很大麻烦，因为美元在伊朗贸易中的比重没那么高，由于美国制裁，伊朗银行业已经有很长时间不能用美元。

“Considering that the use of the dollar is banned for Iran and traders are literally using alternative currencies in their transactions, there is no longer any reason to proceed with invoices that use the dollar as the base rate.”

 （考虑到伊朗和贸易商被禁用美元，他们在交易中实质上在用替代货币，再也没有任何理由处理以美元作为基础汇率的发票。）

他还强调说，伊朗商人需要通知供应商将订单的基础货币从美元改为其他货币，以便保证相关的进口文件在入境伊朗时正常操作。
